  • Raindrops on roses...

    Raindrops on roses and...hamsters.. in airports!  J/k about the lyrics.  But those are a few of my favorite things.

    I'm also a fan of Melissa Joan Hart :)   Over a year ago she opened a candy / froyo / gelato sweet shop in Sherman Oaks, CA.  I read about it in a People magazine while sitting at the dentist's office.  Go figure   Didn't visit it until... yesterday!

    There aren't many parking spaces in front, but I snagged the end one.  Not pictured.  Bad parking job, but people were nice about it, which made me happy!

    Baked goods by Carnie Wilson.  I wasn't feeling froyo or gelato, and considering my drive home, I opted for the cupcake and cookie variety.

    Red velvet cookie - $3.75

    Prices are kinda high.

    Lemon bar - $2.95 and Red velvet cupcake - $3.75
    I liked the cupcake the best.  What I ate has knocked my sugar intake level into next week.

    There was a raffle to win 2 tickets to a taping of her new show, Melissa & Joey.  There was no good reason for me not to enter!  Later, I found out she's taping right by my work, and my starstruck brain cells had a field day with that one, haha.  I almost didn't enter because I was concerned I'd have a hard time driving to a taping in LA LA.  I also almost didn't part with my receipt


    Ecstatic me.

    Who wants froyo??

    oh, and lack of reliable transportation shouldn't prevent you from seeing your favorite celeb :P don't you love living in LA? =)

  • woooow! that's cool! i didn't know she opened up a store... hahaha being starstruck is such a bizarre sensation for me. i'll see celebrities on tv and just think of them as famous normal people, but then when i actually see them in person it's like "OMGOSH! IT'S ______!" hahaha... i'd probably be starstruck just walking into that store...

    @pandaxiong - haha, i'd prob. be o.0 if i saw a celeb in person, but with celebs that i really like, just coincidences are enough to get me excited!
